Community Life offers many diverse opportunities to plug into the church. We have fun with CLC! My favorite thing about the church is that there are so many “like minded” people who attend. If we attend a CLC event I know that it will be a Godly place to bring our family and a good experience for all. It is extremely beneficial to spend time with other Christians and share our journeys.
My family lives out of town so I don’t have many people in Kansas City to rely on. More times than I can count my Community Life family has come to the rescue providing meals, PRAYER, and even babysitting. More than that…they give encouragement and support. I feel that my family is very loved here. The "Mom’s Life" ministry has been a ton of fun. Sometimes my friends come with me and always walk away wishing their churches had an active "Mom’s Life" ministry. We are really enjoying our community groups at CLC as well. It is valuable to spend time learning about God in the comfortable environment of a home. Our kids have fun playing and my husband and I enjoy the time with “like minded” adults.
Community Life Church knows our name. On our second visit to CLC in early 2007, the greeters at the door knew our names. They remembered details from our first visit and asked us questions… making us feel comfortable, cared for and welcome. It is hard to visit a new church and leave your kids in a nursery. Community Life made this a comfortable visit. In many ways it just felt like “home”.
