Matt & Leslie's Story

We were looking for a church that would help us to develop Godly relationships to further our spiritual development.  We have felt welcome at the church from day one.  CLC greatly emphasizes relational influence through community groups.  We have enjoyed getting to know several different people and families through the groups. 

The variety of volunteer opportunities has given the two of us several ways to connect with others in the church.  We have been able to contribute to the basic needs of the church and reach out to others in Kansas City through areas such as setting up the church equipment, helping in the nursery, and influencing people in the community.


We enjoy how the leadership team finds strengths of the members and helps get them get connected to make the most of their gifts.
