Community Influence

Community Life Church believes that influence begins at home.
It's walking across the neighborhood, community, and city.  Is it easier to make anonymous donations?  Rely solely on existing charitable organizations?  Absolutely.  But what a difference is made by stepping out of our comfort zone, getting our hands dirty, and walking side by side with those in need.

 

This is the goal of CLC as we pursue authentic influence for Christ in our immediate communities and across our city.  We seek to develop strategic relationships with effective organizations in our communities in an effort to put 'boots on the ground' and have an impact on the lives of those in need.  Additionally, we seek to create new opportunities where none existed, in order that we might offer a 'hand up' and not a 'hand out'.

 

CLC's Community Influence is being constructed to facilitate a major church-wide outreach annually, and consistent outreaches monthly through community groups, student ministry, Kidzlife, families, etc

 

Community Life has partnered with Hillcrest Transitional Housing of Kansas City, Kansas, a non-profit group moving the homeless to self-sufficiency.  Additional partners have included Hope Faith Ministries and City Union Mission.
